KANSAS CITY, MO -- When 5 seed Houston and 7 seed No Coast last met in the playoffs, Houston beat them by a factor of four to one -- 183-45 at the 2009 South Central tournament. No Coast has been slowly marching up the rankings since that time and came into this game in a much stronger position.

South Central Consolation: SC7 No Coast Rolls Over 8SC Green Country, 163-41

KANSAS CITY, MO -- 7 seed No Coast defeated 8 seed Green Country in April, 183 - 63; however, No Coast’s higher seeding appeared much less secure going into this game than it it really was. No Coast proved that they had more than enough advantage and soundly defeated Green Country.

KANSAS CITY, MO -- 7SC No Coast marched into this game coming off a solid opening win over Omaha, but Texas didn't waste much time snuffing out the Lincoln team's hopes for an epic upset. For the second year in a row, Texas blew out No Coast by over 200 points in the South Central quarterfinals to eliminate them from contention for Championships.

The third straight weekend of the WFTDA regional playoffs begins on Friday in Kansas City, MO, as the Kansas City Roller Warriors host the Show Me Der-B-Q. Games begin at 10am Central on Friday, September 30th and conclude on Sunday with the championship at 6:30pm Central.
