INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- Monumental Mayhem’s third bout of Day Two featured the second-seeded Detroit taking on the team that eliminated them at last year’s North Central Region Playoffs - third-seeded Minnesota.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - After being upset by a 7 seed in the opening round of last year’s WFTDA North Central region playoffs, second-seeded Detroit wanted to show the other teams competing at this year's playoffs that they were not about to have a repeat performance in 2011. It was mission accomplished for Detroit, as they utilized a second-half scoring explosion to top 7NC Brewcity 174-59.

DETROIT, MI -- On paper this North Central clash looked like it might be a barnburner. Visiting Naptown (unofficially #17 in the nation via DNN, officially #6 in the North Central via WFTDA) came into this game with a hot hand, a 7-1 record that was marred only by a narrow loss to #2 NC Minnesota and included a win over #4 NC Cincinnati.
