KANSAS CITY, MO -- When these teams met last year in this same game, Nashville nearly completely shut Atlanta down in the second half to win 132-73 and deny Atlanta a trip to 2010's Championships. This year, Nashville did the same thing, only more so.

KANSAS CITY, MO -- The South Central’s reigning champions, tournament top seed Kansas City, lined up against 4 seed Atlanta for the second time this year. In their first meeting Kansas City won decisively 224 - 73. While Atlanta improved the score over the last game it wasn’t by enough to win, and Kansas City romped into the South Central final with a 220-96 win.

KANSAS CITY, MO -- 5SC Houston managed to erase almost all of a 62 point deficit against 4SC Atlanta and was as close as 5 points away with 5 minutes to play, but Atlanta hung on to deny Houston the upset in a 133-117 final.

The third straight weekend of the WFTDA regional playoffs begins on Friday in Kansas City, MO, as the Kansas City Roller Warriors host the Show Me Der-B-Q. Games begin at 10am Central on Friday, September 30th and conclude on Sunday with the championship at 6:30pm Central.

LANCASTER, PA – Dutchland (officially #10 in the WFTDA East region and unofficially #25 in the nation via DNN) continued their recent winning streak with an upset over Atlanta (#4 South Central WFTDA, #23 DNN) on Saturday, March 13th, winning 161-86. Atlanta had most recently enjoyed a 111 point win over Memphis, while Dutchland defeated Atlanta’s regional neighbor Tampa by 64.
