CHICAGO, IL -- The final day of the WFTDA's first quarter features a high-stakes rematch of one of 2011's most exciting games as Windy City (#10 DNN, #1 NC WFTDA) attempts to defend the top spot in the North Central against a steadily improving crew from Naptown (#14 DNN, #3 NC WFTDA).

DALLAS, TX -- Eight teams from the WFTDA South Central region battle it out in an early-season regional tournament that's likely to reshuffle the rankings going into the second quarter of the year as Dallas hosts the third annual Clover Cup.

CINCINNATI, OH -- This weekend's trip northeast by St. Louis' Arch Rival has the potential to shuffle the North Central rankings a bit, as three games involving the region's top ten will also give further context to recent games involving teams just out of the top ten.

LOS ANGELES, CA -- The reigning champions of the flat-track get a rematch against one of the originators of the banked-track revival when Gotham takes on LA in Los Angeles this Saturday.

The fourth and final WFTDA regional playoff tournament of 2011 begins on Friday in Indianapolis, IN, as the Naptown Roller Girls host the North Central's edition of the weekend, Monumental Mayhem. Games begin at 9am Eastern on Friday, October 7th and conclude on Sunday with the championship at 6:20pm Eastern.

The third straight weekend of the WFTDA regional playoffs begins on Friday in Kansas City, MO, as the Kansas City Roller Warriors host the Show Me Der-B-Q. Games begin at 10am Central on Friday, September 30th and conclude on Sunday with the championship at 6:30pm Central.

The second straight week of the WFTDA regional playoffs begin on Friday in Portland, OR; Rose City hosts the Bridgetown Brawl. Games begin at 10:30am Pacific on Friday, September 23rd and conclude on Sunday with the championship at 5:30pm Pacific.

The fifth WFTDA regional playoffs kick off this weekend in Baltimore, MD as the Charm City Roller Girls and DC Rollergirls co-host this year's Eastern Region competition, dubbed "Nightmare on 95." Games begin at 10am Eastern on Friday, September 16 and conclude with Sunday's championship bout at 5pm Eastern.

#7 Kansas City @ #9 Windy City: Coming one week before the WFTDA regional tournament cycle begins with Easterns in Baltimore, Maryland, this bout looks to be an excellent appetizer.

San Diego @ #10 Windy City: Non-WFTDA San Diego hasn't had too many opportunities against highly ranked WFTDA teams during the WFTDA regular season, but they pick it up late in the year; after this weekend's game with #10 WCR, they take on #3 Rocky Mountain and #15 Steel City in October.
