Even from a distance, it is clear that these two teams have a great rivalry. Now that WFTDA has announced the new region structure, one cannot help but reflect poignantly that last night was apparently the last time these two will meet at the regional tournament level.

Recapping the live broadcast
I was there, and I wanted to cover a couple of issues on what really happened since I also have to write a recap. It was like reliving the excitement of the bout! I had to read the whole thing because the memory is so dramatic, and exciting. We could say you should have been there. And honestly I would love to see this bout again in Hi Def. But the drama down to the very last jam was unreal. That is what roller derby is all about. That is what sports is all abosut. Too bad some think this is not real derby. The fact this is real, and the uncertainty of what would happen in this bout was just amazing!
