Both teams have really great skaters. KCRW has the really smart play. Windy City has their pack speed and maybe that floor, heh. Could go either way.

I knew this is the last one at Cicero. I forgot Windy City owns the Skate Court, so they could just as easily use it at Cicero as at the new venue. Thanks for the info.

That is a new addition, is it not? Should prevent Gnosis from having to constantly give us the score and time. Nice.

This little widget Gnosis whipped up will make it a hell of a lot easier to keep up with, though!

The timer looks automatic, and I'd suspect there'd be a something faster and easier (arrows above and below the scores, perhaps?) to update than Gnosis typing out something like "It's now 20-18 KCRW, 25 minutes left in the half" at the end of each jam's description of what's happened.

The timer isn't automatic, but there's a little controller on our end where we can use mouse wheel or keyboard to set the values and push updated info out to the viewers. But as we saw tonight, it's not foolproof; browsers with older javascript engines or with js turned off altogether will not get the updates. Did you ever get to see any scores on yours?
Yeah
I'm kind of in between computers here, long story. I installed Java, and it started working. It wasn't actually updating the score, so I had to shut down and restart the window every so often. Some of that could've just been the functional connection speed. I wouldn't actually be seriously thinking of ever continuing to use a system with a ten year old OS past the point when I reimage the other system with the unfixable hosed net connection.

I like it too BUT
it's not very useful when you go back to read the boutcast after the fact. I'm trying to follow the game but with no point updates in the text, it's REALLY hard to tell how the scores change.

I fully agree and noticed the exact same thing when I got home and re-read my boutcast. I'm working on a solution to cover both bases; we'll have that rolled out for the Western tourny.
