DNN represents the combined effort of hundreds of people, nearly all volunteers, who love modern roller derby and are committed to supporting its growth. We're constantly seeking motivated individuals to help us pursue DNN's mission. To inquire, contact us through the Submit page.

Premium Fulfillment Manager
We've come up with some pretty cool contributor premiums over the years, but we haven't always done a good job getting those gifts into the hands of our contributors in a timely manner. If you have some experience with shipping, and you're not intimidated by a mess of shared spreadsheets to keep track of everything on, this might be a way you can support DNN's operations.
Merchandise Manager
Until now, we haven't offered a comprehensive range of DNN merchandise, in part because we knew from our experience with the limited scale of contributor premiums that we weren't really equipped for large-scale fulfillment. Recently, we've been reminded by many that there's substantial demand for regular-price merch items, and that meeting it could be a significant component of DNN's funding formula. We're looking for someone to head up this effort, ideally someone with extensive experience managing merch for a derby league (so you already know the pitfalls).
The right person might be able to handle both of the above roles.
Fluent Multilingual (Spanish + English, French + English) Writers
Derby has begun to take hold in parts of the world where English can no longer be taken for granted. We're ecstatic about this development, but we're having a hard time keeping up with it (and keeping *you* up with it) because our team currently lacks sufficient language skills.
We're looking for people who are truly fluent in Spanish and French as spoken and written in newly derby-active countries, first to keep the rest of us updated about their developments in English, and potentially to translate other DNN and DerbyLife content to other languages.
As derby spreads further, we'll be looking for additional language support as well.
Fluent Multilingual (Spanish + English, French + English) Textcasters
Similarly, we'd like to provide simultaneous live textcasting of important bouts into multiple languages. If you're fluent in English and another language, but extemporaneous writing isn't your thing, this might be!
Web Development Team
Are you both a derby nerd and an actual nerd? DNN is looking for help with a variety of development projects relating to the main DNN site, public APIs, side projects, and our Derbymatic data system. The most meaningful acronyms and projects for us currently are PHP, Drupal, Kohana, Python, Django, and MySQL. Contact Gnosis if you're interested in digging in!
