Straight from the shameless self-promotion department ... the Baltimore Sun runs a quite nice article today about my men's team, the Harm City Homicide, in the run-up to our Historic Bout With The New York Shock Exchange in Kendall Park this weekend (more on that later.)
No by-day-by-night to be found, but some things remain the same about girl-derby coverage and boy-derby coverage -- the writers get REALLY excited when they find out you play in a miniskirt.
Swanky
Swanky pic, gents. Congrats on the article and good luck to you this weekend. Wish I could be there to witness the derby awesomeness!
But if you're in the Garden
But if you're in the Garden State, who will recap next weekends surprise Charm City vs Philly bout for us? But seriously, skate hard and good luck.
You're in luck!
Charm / Philly is on Saturday night, Homicide / Shock Exchange is on Sunday night.
edit: well, that's half true, anyway :(

I can't think of men's derby
I can't think of men's derby without being reminded of the unfondly non-remembered Capital City Rockets, who had two albums out in the mid-70's...

ha, wow
I certainly hope we can create some better associations as time moves on...

Woo Hoo! Men's Derby
I love and support the boys doing their thang on the track.
Can't wait for our boys, The Southern Scallywags, to get to play soon.
Wish I could be up there to see this game.
Support from Kzoo
I believe I met one of the players at ECE (one of many wonderful people I met).
If I remember correctly there will be a game in Ohio in July? If so, I'll be there with my full support for Men's roller derby.
