The Paso Robles Press carries this story about the Salvation Army's annual kettle campaign, featuring Central Coast Roller Derby skaters all Santa'd up and ringing the bells for the charity. The Salvation Army anticipates greater than usual need for their services due to the current economic downturn, so this sure seems like a great volunteerism opportunity for derby folks. Good show!

El Paso de Robles is lucky to have such an awesome group of ladies representing their fine city. If you ever get to play or see them, make sure you go to the after party so you can connect with them directly and you'll know what I'm talking about. They love to skate and have always been eager to support and help their surrounding leagues. Class act all the way.
