I've installed a new module on the site tonight and it comes with a great deal of joy, not to mention hard work on the part of many people.  The module provides core integration with the Derbymatic database and provides the improved Recent Scores and Upcoming Bouts listings you can now see on the front page and on the Bouts page.  We will continue to tweak and add to these listings in the coming weeks and months.

The "great deal of joy" part of this comes from the fact that I have dreamed of a unified bout calendar for years.  When I started leadjammer.com in 2005, it didn't seem like it would be too hard as long as I kept on top of it.  Well, we all know how that turned out.  Derby went bonkers and no one could keep on top of it.

Until now.  Hurt Reynolds also dreamed of a derby database to track all events and scores and he kept after it for a looong time.  With the help of Moose Ondaluce and many others, Derbymatic is finally a reality and we can begin to use all of that data on DNN.  So sweet.  Thanks to everyone involved, and thanks to the athletes who make this the most kickass sport to be obsessed with.
