Weekly Rollup and Open Thread, 7/15/2011
The Denver Roller Dolls announced a group sales incentive for the WFTDA Championship Tournament, allowing leagues to benefit from helping to market the event.
WFTDA's been busy, adding 15 leagues to its Apprentice program, preparing for an organization-building Australia trip, and launching Rules Central, an overhaul of the WFTDA website's rules section which includes a new outlet for official rules clarifications between formal ruleset releases.
RSA, the organization of roller skate rink operators, recently launched the Make A Skatement initiative as an attempt to overhaul the image of roller skating. Hey, guys? Why don't you just, I dunno, let derby handle that for you?
There will be beer available at a Gotham Girls bout. Repeat: THERE WILL BE BEER AVAILABLE AT A GOTHAM GIRLS BOUT. Praise Pack Is Here Jesus.
