Top ten commented DNN articles

I have been amazed with the long and vigorous debate going on in this month's Power Rankings thread, so I decided to check our database to see which articles are the most commented of all time on DNN. This month's thread comes in at #8 (so far), but y'all sure do love to argue about rankings -- six out of the top ten are ranking threads, the past three months all included.

  1. 2009 Nationals: Capsule Recaps - Nov 2009
  2. Rankings Speculation Open Thread - October 2008
  3. Derby News Network Power Rankings - May 2010
  4. Derby News Network Power Rankings - June 2009 (currently unavailable - archived during re-launch)
  5. Derby News Network Power Rankings - July 2009 (currently unavailable - archived during re-launch)
  6. Whip It! Trailer - Aug 2009
  7. CONTEST: Best Watch Party Photo/Video - June/July 2010
  8. Derby News Network Power Rankings - July 2010
  9. Funding DNN in 2010: Open Letter - April 2010
  10. Derby News Network Power Rankings - June 2010

Next question...

...can you calculate what percentage of posts have the word "outrage" in it? ;p

Numbers?

Gnosis, what was the number of comments for number 1? Just so we know what to shoot for.

now that this has been posted

I expect artificial inflation of people trying to run up the numbers...

yup

Indeed! Trenchant. Artificially trenchant.

Yeah but...

Will they be running up the numbers just so DNN has no way to triangulate away the superior status of the 2009 Capsule Recaps?

WHAT??? THIS VERY THREAD

WHAT??? THIS VERY THREAD ITSELF IS AN OUTRAGE I TELL YOU!!!

We have reached it!!!

The highest level of derbgeekdom ever!!!!

Thanks for all the ubergeeks like Gnosis, Hambone , Mr Rawk & so many other geeks through the derby world that make me feel a little more like a geek every day....

Can we crunch the #'s on other stuff?
