Preview: Team Legit at San Diego Derby Dolls

Team Legit returns to the bank, this time taking on the San Diego Derby Dolls at the Del Mar Fairgrounds after a narrow 133-127 loss to the L.A. Derby Dolls Ri-Ettes in March, as the two teams get a chance to size up one another as a prelude to Battle on the Bank III.

The San Diego Derby Dolls defeated Team Legit in a half hour semi-final 44-31, at last June's Battle on the Bank II: Capital Punishment banked track tournament in Austin.

Dominated by skaters from Rat City and Duke City, it's almost at the point where Team Legit is just as much a banked track all-star team as flat track all-stars, with all but one member having prior banked track game experience, and some members up to 5 banked track events under their belts.

It's the second outing for the San Diego Derby Dolls banked track all-stars this year (the first was their 193-58 win over Mitten Kittens).

Tiana “Demanda Riot“ McGuire (BADG), Yvonne “Goodie 2 Skates“ Van Vactor (RCR), and Caitlin “Muffin“ Krause (DCD) return for their 6thed event on the bank. Rachel “Jackie Daniels” Bockheim (WCR) and Katie “Sheeza Brickhouse“ Taylor (RCRG) have played 3 and 4 previous banked track games/tournaments respectively.
