DNN Thanks YOU, Part 4: Photographers

Editor's note: earlier this year, we welcomed Xena Paradox as DNN's Photo Editor. Since then, she's been working tirelessly to help us find the best in derby photography, organize it, get shots posted promptly, and (most importantly) make sure that we're appropriately crediting all the great photographers who take them.

We have another year-end thank you that needs to be given to our amazingly talented volunteer photographers. The pool keeps growing and we can't begin to imagine what we would do without their spectacular generosity. Dozens of photographers from all over the world have made their shots of home-team bouts, pick-up scrimmages, league events, regional and national tournaments available to us which we have been able to share with you.

Below we have tried to list every photographer who has contributed photographs to DNN articles, but we know there must be some of you whose shots we used before we started systematically tracking photographers. Please let us know of any that we may have left off, we want to recognize everyone's wonderfulness!

The mid-year relaunch of the site gave us lots more flexibility with how we can use photos and since then we have been working on how to improve the photo usage on DNN. Now that the tournaments, and recovery from them, as well as the holidays are (almost) behind us, we are excited to spend a bit of the off season implementing those ideas.
